Deze Daimler XJ6 is een bijzonder stijlvolle verschijning en dat komt niet alleen door de schitterende kleurencombinatie. Deze luxueuze saloon is niet alleen zeer mooi om te zien, maar ook om mee te rijden. En wat ook bijzonder is: Deze oorspronkelijk in Zwitserland nieuw geleverde Daimler heeft nog maar 90.000 originele kilometers op de teller staan! Dat maakt deze schitterende donkerblauw metallic Daimler extra uniek en aantrekkelijk.
De auto is sinds 2019 in Nederland, maar heeft daarvoor enkel in Zwitserland gereden. De instructie en onderhoudsboekjes (met stempels) zijn aanwezig bij de auto. Het is duidelijk zichtbaar dat de auto met zeer veel liefde en zorg is onderhouden. Het lakwerk is nog in bijzonder mooie conditie en eigenlijk op een enkele plek na, in bijna nieuwstaat. Ook de diverse chroom en sierdelen zijn nog bijzonder mooi en gaaf. De carrosseriedelen sluiten goed op elkaar aan en ook de diverse rubberdelen zijn nog in prima staat.
Bij het interieur wordt het nog meer bijzonder. Dit is namelijk in bijna nieuwstaat, zo mooi en puntgaaf. De luxueuze stoelen en bank zijn nog schitterend om te zien, het beige lederen interieur is nog bijzonder mooi en perfect. De meervoudig elektrisch verstelbare (en verwarmbare) stoelen zitten heerlijk. Ook het dashboard is nog prachtig en werkt naar behoren. Ook het houtwerk is nog mooi om te zien en nog in goede conditie. Het is duidelijk dat er met veel liefde en zorg is gereden met deze auto.
De auto rijdt uiteraard heerlijk. Deze comfortabele en bijzonder luxueuze Daimler is niet voor niets de luxere uitvoering van de Jaguar XJ. De heerlijke zescilinder in lijn motor loopt bijzonder mooi en rustig. En ook de automatische versnellingsbak schakelt bijzonder soepel. De stuurinrichting voelt goed en degelijk aan en ook de remmen werken naar behoren. Het is een heerlijke manier om te ‘onthaasten’ in deze engelse saloon.

This Daimler XJ6 has a very stylish appearance and that is not only due to the beautiful color combination. This luxurious saloon is not only beautiful to look at, but also to drive. And what is also special: This Daimler, originally delivered new in Switzerland, has only 90,000 original kilometers on the counter! That makes this beautiful dark blue metallic Daimler extra unique and attractive.
The car has been in the Netherlands since 2019, but has only driven in Switzerland before that. The instruction and maintenance booklets (with stamps) are present with the car. It is clearly visible that the car has been maintained with a lot of love and care. The paintwork is still in very beautiful condition and actually, except for a few spots, in almost new condition. The various chrome and trim parts are also still very beautiful and pristine. The body parts fit together well and the various rubber parts are also still in good condition.
It gets even more special with the interior. This is in almost new condition, so beautiful and pristine. The luxurious seats and sofa are still beautiful to see, the beige leather interior is still very beautiful and perfect. The multiple electrically adjustable (and heated) seats are wonderful. The dashboard is also still beautiful and works properly. The woodwork is also still beautiful to see and still in good condition. The car of course drives wonderfully. This comfortable and very luxurious Daimler is not for nothing the more luxurious version of the Jaguar XJ. The wonderful six-cylinder in-line engine runs very nicely and quietly. And the automatic gearbox also shifts very smoothly. The steering feels good and solid and the brakes work properly. It is a wonderful way to 'relax' in this English saloon.
