The SLC range was added to the SL lineup to make the ultimate GT car. The longer wheelbease give the car a perfect handeling for highspeed driving.
Th particulair car was bought by a Dutch collector to participate in a rally from Berlin to Beijing. In order to do so the car was meticulously prepared. Every part was inspected and comfortable heated seats were added.
The car succecfully completed the trip without any problems whichs shows that German enginering and a good preparation make a perfect rally car.
When the car returned from China it received a well earned mechanical overhaul. Every part that was not up to code was replaced by a Mercedes-Benz specialist. Bills and emails are available to show that the car has been pamperd by its last owner. It was truly rewarded for a job well done.
